The First round table on Internationalization of the USB was held on 8th of Jan. 2017 at the USB central hall and 45 academicians participated in it.
Chancellor and vice chancellors of USB honorably attended the meeting. Other participants were faculty deans and deputies for research as well as heads of academic departments. This was a brainstorming session on the topic of internationalization and globalization of USB. The following are some of the main topics discussed in the meeting:
a. Facilitating the process of accepting overseas students
b. Launching joint international projects
c. Student and professor exchange with overseas universities
d. Launching a language center for teaching English
Some illuminating suggestions and comments were presented and they will be discussed in the 2nd round tables.
