Kick-off meeting and Roundtable….

Twenty-five representatives of the nine partner institutions and the two ministries Education and Foreign Affairs attended the kick-off meeting of the IHEI project that was held at the Allameh Tabataba’i University, Tehran in mid February.
This first two-day working session was chaired by UA as project coordinator in order to present and discuss the overall aspects of the project objectives and activities, management communication flow, reporting, responsibilities and the execution of the monitoring and quality control procedures. Making the most of the meeting, the Round table on barriers for credit recognition and international mobility of students & academic staff took place with all relevant stakeholders and was chaired by Mr Rafael de Paz EU Expert with wide experience in the topic to get an updated perspective of the current of barriers for credit recognition and international mobility of students & academic staff. The main bottlenecks and stakeholders involved in this process were identigy and possible solutions discussed. Consecuently the Report on barriers for credit recognition and international mobility of students & academic staff was produced.
