On Wednesday 7 February 2018, ATU held the first National Seminar on Internationalisation of Higher Education in Iran (IHEI) in partnership with universities of Shiraz, Ferdowsi (Mashhad), Shahid Chamran (Ahvaz), Kurdistan, and Sistan and Baluchestan. The Seminar included six panels where directors of International Academic Cooperation from six Iranian universities presented their papers on the relevant issues in the field.

Twenty-two representatives of the IHEI consortium met on December, 3^rd to 5^th, 2017 to celebrate the  Workshop 4. Internationalization Networking and Opportunities. This event was the last of the 6 workshops scheduled in the project, and they will be replicated the six Iranian universities along 2018. The Shahid Chamran University of Ahwaz hosted the meeting where the 3 experts from the EU partner institution FH-Johanneum spoke about Internationalization from first-hand experience.

Last week, representatives of five Iranian universities and the University of Alicante attended the 29th Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition took place from 12–15 September 2017 at the Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES).
The Iranian delegation, composed of members from the Allameh Tabataba'i University, Shiraz University, University of Sistan and Baluchestan, University of Kurdistan, Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, experienced this 4-day conference with 6000 participants from 95 countries.
 

Last week, the 6th Workshop 'ITCs for IROs' was carried out at Allameh Tabataba'i University, in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, in the framework of the Erasmus+ project Internationalization of Higher Education in Iran (IHEI).

Since yesterday and till tomorrow, the 5th Workshop 'Fund-raising and Project Management' has been taking place at University of Kurdistan, in Sanandaj, Islamic Republic of Iran, in the framework of the Erasmus+ project Internationalisation of Higher Education in Iran (IHEI).

The training is being delivered by the University of Alicante. Mr Escarre, Director, and Ms. Ester Boldrini, Deputy Director, both Senior Project Managers at OGPI, are sharing with our Iranian partners their knowledge and expertise on ERASMUS+  KA2 gleaned over the years.

The International Relations and Scientific Cooperation Office held this Roundtable Conference on Internationalization Strategies for academic staff and postgraduate students to discuss University of Kurdistan's internationalization strategies.
